Privacy Policy Changes

We encourage visitors to check this page frequently for changes to its Privacy Policy. Your continued use of this site after any change will constitute your acceptance of such change. We will alert you about any changes by updating this Privacy Policy’s “Last Updated” date. Any changes or modifications will be effective immediately upon posting the updated Privacy Policy on the Site, and you waive the right to receive specific notice of each such change or modification.

Your privacy is critically important to us. As such, we have a few fundamental principles

  1. We don’t ask you for personal information unless we truly need it.
  2. We don’t share your personal information with anyone except to comply with the law, develop our products, or protect our rights.
  3. We don’t store personal information on our servers unless required for the ongoing operation of one of our services.
  4. We NEVER sell your phone number or other data you provide to any 3rd parties or services.

What personal data we collect, and why we collect it

E-mail, Phone, and Text Messaging (SMS) Authorization

By providing us with a cellular or wireless device telephone number (including one that you later convert to a wireless device number), you expressly consent to receive informational, telemarketing, and advertising communications from us and our service providers. Such communications include but are not limited to text messages and communications. This express consent applies to all telephone numbers and e-mail addresses you provide now and all telephone numbers and e-mail addresses you provide to us in the future. You understand that you are not required to grant consent as a condition of purchasing any property, goods, or services from the Company. Should you wish to decline to provide such express consent or revoke your consent at any time, you may do so by calling us or using any other method that reasonably ensures we receive your revocation. You understand that message and data rates may apply.

We obtain SMS consent from our clients in two ways:

    1. Verbally: Clients can provide consent by calling us on our number, which is available on our website, or when we call them to discuss their project.

    2. Online: prospective customers can also book an estimate consultation and provide their consent by checking it in a form.

    Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string, to help detect spam.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

    Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Images uploaded for quote requests are not published on the website, yet they are stored in our secure server. We access images to assist with quicker project estimates. These are not required for services.

    Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

    Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves exactly the same way as if the visitor had visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

We store the personal information provided by users who register on our website (if any) in their user profiles. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights do you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

    Where we send your data

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. We may send data to our secure Customer Relationship Management tools to better manage your project. We do not share or send your data with another 3rd party.
